You will provide technical training as part of the IT Apprenticeship Syllabus, A+ (CompTIA), MCDST, Network + (CompTIA), Advanced Diploma for IT Practitioners (City and Guilds) to 16 19 year olds.
Key responsibilities:
Train, coach and assess learners acting as mentor throughout the 5 month programme
Deliver the Microsoft Training courses up to MCDST
Provide high quality certified training to advanced apprentices
Maintain own technical skills set and take exams as appropriate in order to retain industry qualifications
Qualifications:
Essential - MCP or MCDST
Desirable MCSA or MCSE (2000, 2003 or 2008 equivalent) or working towards these qualifications, CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network +, MCT
Skills and Experience:
Ideal candidate will be MCP or MCDST qualified trainer with industry experience
Experience of working with and coaching young people (16 19 year olds)
Industry expertise in IT support and/or service role
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Business acumen and excellent organisation skills
